Hydraulic/Pneumatic PTO’s

HPTO series

The HPTO of TwinDisc is a self-adjusting PTO with recognizable characteristics of TwinDisc: reliable, long service life and low maintenance intervals are required. The clutch package is continuously lubricated, due to the oil pressure being built up by a pump on the input shaft.

HP-series

The oil and air operated PTOs from TwinDisc are developed for high-speed and high-performance engines. This series of Power Take Offs offer maximum reliability and minimal installation and maintenance costs. The HP series has 2 fold or 4 fold pump connectors as an option. A wide range of SAE adapters are available. The pump connections have an optional accelerating ratio.

RO- en RC series

The RO and RC series are self-adjusting hydraulically operated PTOs. They support high axial load, are efficient and take up little space thanks to a compact design.

CA- CX series

These mechanically operated PTOs can be used with any engine fitted with standard SAE housing size 6 to 00. The CA and CX series are suitable for torques up to 1220 Nm.

IB-series

The IB series is especially developed for Heavy Duty industrial engines. The PTO can be supplied with 2 or 3 friction plates. The IB-Serie is suitable for couples from 2,750Nm up to 11,400 Nm.

The SP series are available in SAE 1, 0 and 00 input with flywheel size from 11.5″ to 21″. Optionally sintered friction plates are available. The SP series is suitable for couples from 2,750Nm up to 11,400 Nm.

Technodrive series

BD PTO Technodrive

Technodrive Power Take-offs type BD is directly connected to a diesel engine with SAE flanges. The mechanically operated, dry disk coupling consist of a casing and input shaft. The BD clutch is available in single-disc Power Take Offs with 6 ½ ″, 7 ½ ″, 8 ″, 10 ″, 11 ½ ″ friction plate. The dual disk PTO range consists of 11 ½ ″ and 14 ″ friction plates. Finally, the triple-disc PTO range consists of 11 ½″, 14″ and 18″ friction plates. The PTOs are manufactured in Italy and can be used between 15kW up to 700kW.

BDS PTO Technodrive

BDS PTO’s are basically the same clutch as BD type, but with a closed casing and a shaft on the input side. This allows the PTO to be mounted independently.

PFI-series

The PFI series is to be operated with a 12v or 24v electrical circuit and therefore can be switched on remotely. The PTO is suitable for use with all diesel engines which are standard equipped with a SAE flywheel housing 3 to 1.
